Methodology

The calculator sends CTC inputs to a versioned salary rule engine. The engine applies configured salary split assumptions, employee and employer PF policy, standard deduction, slab tax, rebate, and health and education cess for the selected fiscal year.

Salary rules are time-sensitive, so the calculation requires an explicit fiscal year and rule-set version. This prevents silent rollover when tax rules change.
